This just passed me on my commute this morning (I was stopped at the time).
Diesel too. Neat. Looked exactly like this.

I’ve always thought of it as Japan’s tribute to the VW Syncros.

SR20 or it didn’t happen

It didn’t happen then cause i didn’t get a chance to even get my phone out. Sad story. Cool van though, taller than I thought.

Those are so common in Canada it’s unreal. On Vancouver Island they’re almost more common than Civics or Corollas.

Mitsubishi Spanish Inquisition Super Happy Go-Fun XL?

I see one with Canadian plates sometimes, I don’t know how long they are staying here with those plates.

I drove to Izu in Japan in May and I saw the brand new one with the offroad looking package, wow I want one!

I’ve seen two different Delicas in the past two weeks at the same intersection while driving my kid to school...he does not understand my excitement every time. If you want one, British Columbia appears to be full of them, which I assume is why I keep seeing them in Seattle.

That may have been my neighbor. They also have an E39 M5.

I've seen a Doka and a Unimog this morning, and TWO Equus in the same parking lot.

I like those square third gens better than the bubbly fourth gens;
They are everywhere up here. See two or three a day.
When we had the westy we followed one up the Fraser Canyon - it was taller and skinnier than a westfalia, and even more gutlass than the 2.1 wasserboxer. I actually passed it -HA..

TWO, and they weren’t at a Hyundai dealership, nor were they owned by the same person.

And just now a bitchin El Camino SS and a Volaire wagon on brown.

Holy shit it passed you?

They would be followed by me.

Has to have been the same one. I keep meaning to snap a pic and post it, but obviously haven’t yet.

I think they are BC thing. Out side of BC you never see them. It makes sense. Small enough for the city, capable off road, good visibility, and easy of fuel.

There are two non lifted Delicas in my neighborhood. You just don’t see too many of them here in Germany because most of them have probably been exported to Africa by now.

I’ll see what I can do today. Now it’s on my mind, but we’ll see if that changes by the time I get home...

Yeah, I wish the US would drop the 25 year rule at least to align it with Canada’s 15 year rule. That way we’ve got consistency and I could import the Toyota Hiace Super Custom GL 3.0D 4WD Living Saloon EX Limited. Just for the damn name. BTW, those Mitsu Delicas are excellent...one of my employees up here has one back home in Vancouver as his surf van. Room to change inside and plenty of room for boards and beers.

It is definitely a BC thing. I lived in Ontario and saw a few, but out here I see way more.

I live in British Columbia. Can confirm.

Here on Vancouver Island they’re as, or more, common than Windstars.

I’ve seen a few in the GTA, but it does not compare to Vancouver & Victoria.

Come to Vancouver, you're not allowed to live in east van unless you drive a Delica or a diesel Golf. Not sure how Dieselgate is going for them....

Australia has a bunch of these. They always have awesome shit written on the side like Chamonix , Turbo-intercooler and Space-gear . And like 50 crystal-lite sunroofs.
